The primary use of PEM Nuts & Self Clinching Fasteners is to provide good pullout and torque loads where the sheet metal is too thin for secure fastening using other methods. Self Clinching Fasteners require fewer assembly operations than other traditional forms of fastening such as nuts and they also have greater reusability and more holding power than metal screws.
