| Lithium Nitrate Molecular Formula:LiNO3 CAS No.:7709-69-4 Molecular Weight:68.946 Density:2.40g/cm3 Melting Point:253℃ Physicochemical Properties: It is a colorless hexagonal crystal or white powder. The lithium nitrate easily dissolves in water, ethanol, aqueous ammonia and lots of organic solvents. It is subject to deliquescence and is apt to form eutectic mixture with other alkali metal nitrates. Specification Assay (LiNO3): 99.0% Min Sulfate (SO4): 0.05% Max Fe: 0.005% Max Insoluble: 0.05% Max Water: 1% Max Chloride: 0.01% Max Ca: 0.05% Max Mg: 0.02% Max Alkalinity (Li2CO3): 0.05% Max Applications and Usages: mainly used as aqueous ammonia stabilizer in refrigeration facility, rocket propellant, oxidizer for fireworks, etching agent for glass, static inhibitors, and as component of molten salts in metallurgical industry.
